I heart Urban Decay

After my devastation of not being able to find Urban decay in Boots etc any longer (and being told by a boots worker that they had gone bankrupt???) I got a very kind relative to get me some goodies from Sephora in the good old U S of A :) and here is my haul:

Also I sneaked in these Glee nail varnishes :) Can't wait to try it all and will show results soon :)

Argan Oil and some retail therapy!

After reading about Argan Oil on a few blogs I decided to give it a try!I got the following products from Boots which amounted to a total of around £30:

The shampoo and conditioner felt very smooth to apply and had a lovely smell!! I also used the heat protector spray before straigtening my hair, and finally used the Argan Oil itself as a kind of frizz ease being careful not too use too much !! My hair is quite fine but also has a bit of a frizz too it, I have used these products for a week or so, and so far I am not as impressed as I thought I would be, they seem to add frizz to my hair rather than take it away? However they smell so yummy and feel like they are 'good' for your hair, so I am not going to give up and will keep using them, but I am sad that it didn't work as magically as I thought it would!!

A few weeks ago I also tried this LA Science follice shampoo which again I had read about and decided to try (bought from amazon for around £15) This works like a 2 in 1 as you don't need to use conditioner. It stimulates growth and thickness and I would recommend it for anyone with quite fine hair as it made my hair feel more volumized!

I have been a bit of a Very.co.uk addict recently and got the above tops, my favorite is the bottom one I love bows :) I just bought some new shoes and sandals from Very which will be arriving next week - excited!!

Not so Plain Jane...

One of my favorite clothes shops is Jane Norman, after finding nothing in River Island , Topshop etc today I knew Jane wouldn't let me down!I got the following:

This top is my attempt at Colour Blocking, even said so on the label!!

I thought this one was cute, navy is always quite flattering on my pale skin tone!

I really needed a new purse and thought this one was lovely!

After Jane Norman I decided to treat myself to some Urban Decay make up only to discover in the shops that usually sell it that Urban Decay has apparantly gone bankrupt!!!So devastated the saleswoman said it can still be found online so I am going to hunt some down later hopefully!!(If anyone knows any online stores I can buy it from please let me know)! Gutted though as I love the quality of their make up and no one else compares! I was so depressed that I couldn't see anything else that I wanted and decided to come home!!


I hope everyone is having a great week, mine is awesome as I have booked some well needed time away from work!Funny how the world seems a better place when I have a week off!!

Easter Fun

Although I had to work part of the Easter weekend we still managed to have a blast!! Weather stayed glorious allll weekend!! Had a family BBQ on Sunday where I discovered my love for Artichokes (being a Veggie BBQ's are always slim pickings so I am very happy to discover something new to have other than bread and salad!!)

We also had to fit in some beach time whilst the weather was so lovely , shame to waste it since it isn't going to last!!There is something so lovely and refreshing about paddling in the sea , dipping your toes in the ocean, no matter how old I get I always love the beach and looking out to sea!!Shame I forgot sunscreen and am now quite burnt - very naughty but I blame the lack of nice weather we have!The OH keeps telling me to stop looking embarassed all the time due to my burnt cheeks- he does enjoy to wind me up!!:)

Being on a health kick I was gifted only one easter egg but it was awesome!! and I am always happy to receive a new mug to enjoy a nice cup of tea!!and of course I heart Glee!!

Hope everyone had a lovely easter!! I am very excited for another long weekend this week and of course will enjoy the Royal Wedding, hope the forecast for rain doesn't come true!!

Nailed it!

I decided to try Barry M Nail effects, from what I have read it has had mixed reviews, but for someone who never has her nails done, I am really impressed with it!Bought the colours above (bargain in Boots, 2 for £5). I decided to use the green for my first attempt:

Excuse my non pro application skills lol but I am pleased with the results and definately keen to try it in different colours!

Now its time to chill out with a cup of tea in my favorite mug (the cat disappears except for the grin when theres a hot drink in it)

I also got these beautiful pieces from Accessorize!! and the New Max Factor Mascara which I haven't yet tried again from Boots with a free smoky eye shadow - bargain!

My beauty essentials

For my first blog I thought I would post my everyday products I use:

This is my must use moisturiser as I do have sensitive skin so anything stronger makes it irritated (I used to use Enzimion by Lush but that's gone too harsh for my skin) since I don't wear foundation I have to use this every morning and night, if I run out of it it's a nightmare as I can't use anything else!

I recently bought this as my friend gave me a benefit voucher for Christmas, it was a bit difficult to use at first but now I've for the hang of it I love it, I only use it if the colour matches obviously , on other days I use my urban decay palettes for more choice and bolder colours, this one is for more of a natural beauty look.


My favorite Urban decay:

Mine does not look as pristine as this one lol!I have one other palette but this is my favorite one!I REALLY wanted the Alice in Wonderland palette but it wasn't available to buy here :( so jealous of those who managed to get one!!!

My favorite perfume that I discovered on holiday in Chicago visiting my sister, its Vanilla scented which I love, I wear it everyday and my sister is awesome by sending it to me!! I also looove all of Britney's perfumes!:)

I wish I didn't have too as I know they are bad for your hair but I have to straighten it everyday for work, I use tresemme heat protector, I do intend to not use them when I have time off work and not going out anywhere (most weekends I don't use them) They are the best straighteners ever!!
